Job Details

1. Cost Reduction Initiatives

• Analyze current cost structures to identify cost-out opportunities across raw materials, manufacturing processes, energy, and packaging.

• Apply VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) concepts to redesign products or materials to lower costs without compromising functionality.

2. Project Management & Execution

• Act as the Project Leader, driving initiatives from feasibility studies and Return on Investment (ROI) calculations through to full execution.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams—including R&D, Production, Procurement, and QA/QC—to ensure projects are successfully completed on schedule.

3. Testing & Validation

• Oversee trial runs for alternative materials or new processes to ensure customer quality and standards are not compromised.

• Collaborate with QA/QC on reliability testing for cost-reduced components or products.

4. Monitoring & Reporting

• Prepare and track cost-saving pipeline reports to present project status updates to senior management regularly.

• Conduct post-mortem validation with Finance and Accounting to verify actual financial savings achieved upon project completion.

Qualifications

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or cost-reduction project management within an industrial plant environment.

3. Core Skills: Strong proficiency and expertise in VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) principles.

4. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of engineering economics and break-even analysis.

5. Leadership: Exceptional project management and cross-functional team collaboration skills.

6. Mindset: Analytical and problem-solving mindset with a strong data-driven decision-making capability.
